Every September I am reminded by my industry that it is Life Insurance Awareness Month. As an insurance professional, I always use this time of year to review my clients’ insurance portfolios and make sure they are up to date. My clients and I commiserate about how much we pay for all the insurance we have to buy. The house, and the cars. Don’t get us started on health insurance premiums! We all agree that our life insurance premium is usually the smallest, but somehow the one that makes us feel the most secure. Secure that our loved ones will not face an uncertain financial future without the money to provide for their needs. Life insurance is the only insurance that can keep your family’s financial future intact after you’re gone. It can cement your legacy in the lives of your loved ones. Not having enough or not having any at all is a grave financial mistake. Please, use this Life Insurance Awareness month to make sure you have provided for your family should you unexpectedly pass away.
